In furtherance of the clarion call of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for " Vocal on local" and " Atmanirbhar Bharat", the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), having more than 40 thousand Trade Associations across Country as affiliates thereby representing about 7 crore small businesses of India has initiated a robust and India centric e-commerce portal "Bharatemarket" to transform existing physical supply Chain of India on Digital ecosystem of the Country. The basic fundamentals of Bharatemarket spelled out in its charter are storage of data in India and on servers located in the Country. No data will travel outside India. Providing net commerce solution for both Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumers (B2C), online trading of goods & services, promoting Web Technologies. Bharatemarket will be embedded with strong logistic system and smooth digital payments . It will provide a transparent interface between sellers and the Consumers and will have a strong commitment of delivery of orders with 4 hours in inter-city transactions. Bharatemarket will be a truly market place providing a technological platform for both sellers and consumers. There will be no charge for creating e-dukan as also no charges will be levied on transactions that will occur on Bharatemarket.
