Incorporated in February 2015, Leaf is working towards making 1 million families safe and connected by 2020. Currently they are working on the issue of women and kids safety. For their products and vision they have received Ericsson Innovation Award 2015 and also India Innovation Award 2015 given by DST-Lockheed Martin. They were also one of the top 10 startups which was part of the cohort which went along with Prime Minister to Silicon Valley. Our current hit selling product SAFER is a smart jewellery — pairable with your mobile phone. The few major features of Safer are: 1. SOS Send an alert with location to your guardians when you feel you are in danger by double clicking your SAFER and they will know about your whereabouts when you need their help. They can then navigate you on the maps and reach you in time to help you. 2. SAFER Places: When traveling alone, See and navigate to nearby safe places like hospitals and police station using the SAFER App. The kid’s product would be in a form of watch which will act as a smart locator and a phone designed to keep families in touch. The first prototype is already ready and has generated a lot of interest. Specifically from powerhouse mobile companies both local (Indian) and Global. The development on the next version of SAFER is also underway.
