Suraasa's Customer WebsiteSuraasa is an Impact EdTech & JobTech startup on a mission to reduce the global shortage in skilled K-12 teachers. This gap is already hampering many countries' education systems including India, Middle East, & Americas since 50% of teachers have either already quit or want to leave the career. Suraasa was formed in 2018 in India, after training 60,000+ teachers offline in 1,500 schools across 21 states of India and winning India's best teacher training company awards thrice. Our solution is to raise the prestige and attractiveness of the K-12 Teaching profession. As a result, we help raise the "qualified teacher" workforce count, improving one of the critical UN SDG-4 "Quality Education" KPIs.Suraasa has identified the core problem and is working on making the teaching career attractive to existing & new teaching talent. Suraasa builds its own courses, working with people who have master’s degrees and PhDs in education and have had decades of experience in international teaching and learning. These qualifications are approved by various international government bodies, delivered through its EdTech platform.
