Website Provide a user controllable system to every inhabitant of a high-rise building to escape to safety during an emergency like fire. Presently staircases and emergency escape chutes installed in common areas are the mode of exit during emergency. Our System is a dedicated self-rescue system designed for speedy rescue of entire family unit or co-inhabitants of a residential or commercial flat from any floor of a building. It does away with the commotion, chaos and fights for priority of use that are inherent in common use systems like fire-lifts and chutes or lowering devices in common areas controlled by external operators. The speedy rescue capability of this system does away with the time lost in waiting for external help or availability of common rescue systems- the delays that can make a difference between life and death. In many fire episodes the sight of people helplessly waiting in balconies for external help to arrive or resorting to jumping out of windows and balconies to avoid the pains of death from being burnt alive, emphasizes the importance and need of self-rescue system like the one we are presenting here. It is a comprehensive user controlled personal emergency self-rescue and escape system. It gives every inhabitant of a high rise building a timely and safe mode of self-rescue during emergencies like fire. This system is a novel invention that uses no external power source and works on differential gravitational forces. This is a rope based system that gives the user the capacity to descend down the rope from any height at a controllable speed of zero to 2 to 3 mtrs. per sec. or halt perfectly at any point if required. The rope holding self-rotating arm retracts itself automatically after use to prevent it from causing obstruction to other descender /escapees from higher levels. National and PCT International Patent Applications have been filed and are under process and International Search Authority Report has confirmed the Innovative concept, Industrial application and patent-ability of the system.
