The product is a dual frequency wireless solution which offers various features i.e. energy conservation, asset/personnel tracking, access control/security and ambient conditions monitoring. It is a dual band system. Two frequencies are used to incorporate benefits of long range as well as accuracy. The hardware and software for this system has been completely custom designed from scratch to suit the Indian subcontinent, which provides low cost of manufacturing as well as complete customizability. The product works on wireless transmission of data, machine learning and data analytics. The product is currently a 433MHz and 2.4GHz based solution. It consists of 4 major parts. The first part is a battery powered omni directional beacon working on both the above stated frequencies; after various software optimizations a regular coin cell will last for more than 6 months. The second part is the reader designed to be plugged into a wall socket, which reads the presence of the tag and automates various appliances through relays as well as wirelessly via infrared emitters. The third part is the hub which collates data from all the readers and can operate completely offline, and once internet is provided it sends data to cloud automatically. The final part is the cloud backend which stores and displays the dashboard, it also runs smart data analytics on the power consumed, location of the tags and ambient conditions. The technical innovation is incorporating multiple types of technologies in one system and making them work on dual frequencies, to achieve a low cost and effective solution.
