Linxus is a technology-driven startup focused on automation and innovation in the cloud infrastructure space. Founded by an experienced IT professional with over 6 years in the industry, Linxus was born out of a clear gap identified in the market. Many companies that adopted cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP during the early days of cloud computing did so before the concept of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform became mainstream. These organizations typically migrated their data center applications manually to the cloud, often with limited cloud experience at the time. As a result, their infrastructure remains unmanaged, inconsistent, and prone to human error. For instance, in manually managed cloud environments, if a critical resource like DNS records in Route53 is accidentally deleted, it can cause significant downtime until engineers manually recreate each record. However, with IaC, such issues can be resolved within minutes by running a simple `terraform apply`, restoring all configurations from version-controlled code. While newer companies now build their infrastructure using Terraform from the start, older cloud adopters face a major challenge: "migrating their existing manually managed infrastructure into Terraform." This process is time-consuming, error-prone, and costly, often requiring skilled DevOps engineers to manually inspect each resource, write Terraform code, and import the resources into the Terraform state file (terraform.tfstate).
