Lionsmane believes in empowering teenagers to become better individuals and good citizens of the country but the education system in our country lags behind in its approach towards including still training in mainstream education. We still learn age-old subjects which cannot be put into practice in the outside world. PROBELM STATEMENT: 1. A student may pass exams but he/she still remains under confident due to the absence of essential skill training in their curriculum that is required in our day-to-day life. 2. There is a big void in the education system of India when it comes to teaching children communication skills, personality development, and most importantly mental health awareness. 3. Very little emphasis is laid down on financial literacy, Entrepreneurship development, and knowledge about the latest technologies. Design thinking is absent more stress is given to reiteration and reprinting of material. PROPPOSED SOLUTION: 1. Lionsmane programs empower teenage students to deal with real-life problems like stress, anger, under confidence, inability to communicate, poor appearance, and lack of etiquettes 2. Apart from solving the above problems Lionsmane program also imparts knowledge about entrepreneurship development, the latest technologies like Block chain and Crypto currency, Financial literacy and helps the student choose a career depending upon inclination towards a specific topic or interest in a particular field. PRODUCT OVERVIEW: Lionsmane offers a holistic program for students from 8th to 12th Grade. The program has age-appropriate content with a mix of pre-recorded videos and live classes where discussions can take place, projects can be allotted, students can ask questions and share their experiences The program consists of the following subjects:- 1.Communication Skills 2.Entrepreneurship Development 3.Personality Development 4.Financial Literacy 5.Technology 6.Mental Health 7.Design Thinking and Problem Solving 8.Career Advice The uniqueness of this program is the use of simple language (English and Hindi) and breaking down the subject in subtopics and explaining each point with examples in the pre-recorded videos. The SME (subject matter expert) then dives deeper into the subject by making the class interactive with games and projects in Live sessions Subjects like Entrepreneurship, Financial literacy, and Technology are also explained elaborately by the SME in live classes with a Call to Action at the conclusion of the class. The student is awarded a certificate after completing the required number of classes and obtaining grades based on projects made by students The SMEs for each subject are chosen meticulously. They are experts in their respective fields backed by academic qualification and experience. This makes Lionsmane stand out from their competition as our faculties are truly SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS and not just motivational speakers or self-help book reciters. Our SMEs are Professors, Ph.D holders and Life Coaches having more than 10 years of experience in their respective fields. Currently, we have 6 SMEs on board. BUSINESS MODEL: Lionsmane charges the student depending on the number of classes he or she decides to take. The entire program is available as a package and if a student wants to venture into a specific subject then such packages can also be customized. Currently, we are in the MVP stage hence we plan to offer our introductory program for not more than ₹1000. MARKET OPPORTUNITIES: We are targeting teenagers who are in k-12 segment for the entire program. Going forward, some subjects like communication and etiquette can be taught from an early stage as well. Training in mental health can also be introduced from an early stage. The market for Skill development is quite vast as the number of students from 8th grade to 12 grade are 800-1000 per school. In Pune region itself, we have 100 schools which have secondary and junior colleges. CURRNET TRACTION: We are currently developing a pilot program which is our Minimum Viable Product and we aim to circulate it for a very low cost in schools.
