The Livlit is a co-living company which aims at providing a safe, modern, convenient yet affordable residential stay for young students & professionals who migrate to Mumbai for the purpose of employment or education. Here are some factors that differentiates The Livlit: Affordability & Convenience The Problem: When an individual rents out a flat or stays as a paying guest, they may need to buy or rent furniture and also manage their laundry, utility bill payments & general upkeep of the place. This is an added burden on the individual. Our Solution: Affordability is critical especially in metro cities. At Livlit, we provide ready well-furnished units to make the move-in process hassle free. Our tariff is all-inclusive, i.e. laundry, electricity, Wi-Fi, maintenance and housekeeping, is all included, making it very convenient for our members. We also have abundance of common areas & social events, which helps in community building. Transparency & Technology The Problem: Typically, in a metro city, a student / professional is exploring many residential accommodation options through brokers and have to deal with tough landlords, stringent society rules & hidden policies and expenses. For an issue relating to payments, maintenance or documentation, the tenants have to personally contact the landlord and keeping following-up, which is a cumbersome process. Our Solution: At Livlit, all our terms and policies are transparent & available on our website, which gives added comfort to the member, prior to making a reservation. We extensively use technology to ease the entire process & co-living experience by providing video tours, online booking platform, digital agreement signing and access to member dashboard to raise complaints and manage payments. Location & Safety: Our properties are in close proximity to colleges, business centers & transportation hubs which is convenient for our members. All our properties are having security guards round the clock and are under CCTV surveillance, further, all members are provided with RFID cards for easy access, thereby providing the highest level of security. We also provide on-call medical facilities for all the members. Our Achievements: We incorporated our business in 2019 by managing a 10-bed property with one employee and now have scaled to 174 beds across 3 properties by hiring over 25 employees. By March 2025, the company targets to acquire an additional 150 beds in Maharashtra and by 2026 the company looks to set up facilities across India. There was a slow down in 2020 due to the pandemic, however, that led to a sharp rise in demand for premier hostels & co-living spaces. In a span of 3 years, we have managed to achieve an average occupancy of 85%, being higher than the industry standards and have had 100% employee retention. We have also been featured in The Economic Times, Elle Decor & Mid-Day for all our accomplishments.
