LocalHop is a web app designed to bridge the gap between the traditional retail market and its online presence. It will create a platform for retailers to publish their goods, which will allow the buyers to inspect and buy. Currently, no such environment or application helps local retailers sell goods by providing their complete details. Something similar to this system would be Swiggy and Amazon, wherein a person can order food from the restaurant, he has the full information. Swiggy right now only serves food items and has started to deliver parcels. Amazon, on the other hand, offers all kinds of products but doesn’t reveal the identity of the seller we are buying from. Localhop will benefit both the buyer and retailer as the buyer gets a complete market at his fingertips. The seller doesn’t have to create an individual online e-comm platform, which will cost him quite a hefty amount. Github Project
