UAV Based Solutions Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) or drones are one of the technology, its usage and application is in nascent stage but has expanded over the years to aid a larger ambit of sectors and applications. We will be engaged in identifying vast applications for drones where it can be implemented and among this our primary focus will be in areas making an impact on a large scale and economy thereof such as: - o Agriculture- Crop Monitoring and Spraying o Industrial Sites- Asset Maintenance and Surveying o Infrastructure- Construction Monitoring, Planning, Surveying and Mapping o Surveillance for law & order, medical assistance, border security OPPORTUNITIES For Industries- Drones will be employed to simplify processes, increase efficiency and replace hazardous jobs. Also, using AI-enabled drones will help inspectors spot faults, allowing them to swiftly address the issue while ensuring safety standards. As drones will provide an aerial view, it will simply to produce 3D models of the site, which in turn will aid in identifying areas that requires attention. Drones will also help in monitoring the construction work, planning surveys and mapping of properties for a better decision for the stakeholders. In Oil and Gas Industries- Drones can be deployed which will power the operations in accessing data that quickly identifies leaks and spills, reducing downtime significantly. And will also enhance efficiency of pipeline construction and inspection of infrastructure with the help of imaging cameras and infrared sensors and in turn will give immense flexibility to access reams of important visual data while also being able to evaluate and interpret them. In Energy and utilities- Drones equipped with a thermal scanner and RGB camera can collect data quickly and alert the user if an anomaly is detected. Further, the GOI has also mandated the use of drones for mine inspections, which is expected to reduce thefts or audit mismatches by at least 20 percent and also from hazardous conditions. For Agriculture- Drones will assist farmers in minimizing the time and increasing efficiency to monitor crops and livestock, as well as spraying fertilizers and pesticides. The use of agriculture drones is on the rise and the Government of India is also engaged in promoting it seeing the benefits it brings to the agriculture. For Delivery of Essentials in Healthcare Sector- Each one of us is aware of the importance and criticality of time sensitivity to healthcare industry and also saw it during the Covid nightmare for delivery of lifesaving drugs. As a result, drones can be a viable option for providing faster, cheaper and more reliable delivery solutions for medicine and vaccines even to the locations very difficult to access as well as providing sanitization services through spraying in a cost effective manner.
