Lumiere Glass Llp has been formed with the intention to produce high quality Cosmetic & Perfume glass bottles and packaging to service the premium cosmetic and perfume manufacturing segment. It will be a 100% Export Oriented Unit. Currently there is only one player in India who is servicing this segment - Piramal Glass Ltd. who manufactures the ware from conventional large natural gas based furnaces. We will be the first manufacturer in India to produce glass bottles from an electrically operated glass melting furnace. This will enable us to: i. Have a zero carbon footprint, zero air pollution, zero effluents. ii. Produce premium quality glass - the best in India. iii. Start up with a low investment - Less than 50% of that of natural gas fired furnace. iv. Start with lower capacities than conventional furnaces which have a higher break even point. The business model is very customer-centric- We aim to provide a total packaging solution to the buyer- right from in-house designing to the complete packaging- Caps, closures, decoration etc., to be virtually a one stop shop for the buyer, thus easing his procurement problems. The plant is designed to produce low MOQ's ( Minimum Order Quantity) enabling the buyers to benefit with higher inventory turns, helping him to keep his inventory costs low, thus maximising his cash flow and profits. The production capacity will be 7200 metric tons per year which roughly translates into approx 21 million bottles annually.
