We as a team started with a vision in increasing the efficiency of current analog transformers by automating the system which will be in 24 hours of surveillance via real time monitoring system{GPS/GPRS}.We will be monitoring the current temperature at which it is operating and provide optimal running temperature in order to increase the efficiency and minimize the losses. Our main idea is to provide an uninterrupted power supply to Society by providing effective use of transmission line system. How we are Going to do this? We are planning to do so by increasing the efficiency of transformer. How we are going to achieve this? We are going to use microprocessor (Arduino Uno R3). How we are going to make it? We are going to use Microprocessor (Arduino Uno R3),using this we will connect it to our servers using (Arduino Ethernet Shield R3) or by use of (SIM808 GSM/GPRS/GPS Bluetooth Compatible Development Board With GPS Antenna (Arduino Compatible) which will provide us access to that particular electrical device (Transformer) to check its health status and provide 24*7 support. We will use Electronic Timer switch(L701 Microcomputer) which will automate the operation. We are going to use microprocessor (Arduino Uno R3) as mentioned earlier and use thermal sensor (PT100-S) for tracking the temperature of the core, winding and coolant in order of protecting it from over heating in turn increasing it life cycle. Our device will work in such a way that it will keep a track on ideal running temperature of the device helping it to be more efficient. Working model concept. Supply electricity will be first coming to Electronic Timer Switch(L701 Microcomputer). Then from there it will be fed to electrical device(transformer) were our thermal sensor (PT100-S) which will be keeping track of ideal running temperature. The data from thermal sensor will be send to Microprocessor (Arduino Uno R3) which will control the electronic timer switch operation. When the temperature is above the optimal temperature then microprocessor will command the Electronic timer switch to stop the supply until the optimal temperature is achieved once the temperature is achieved then microprocessor will again command the electronic timer switch to start the supply back.
