Bikxie is an app based on-demand taxi & delivery service on two wheelers for both men & women by drivers of respective genders (Bikxie Blue & Pink service), launched in Jan’16 in Haryana. Operations currently span 12 cities including major metro’s in India, with HQ in Delhi. Bikxie presently employs 400 drivers (including 100 women) and operates on multiple businesses (B2B & B2C) like logistics, food delivery, taxi etc. to ensure a smooth & healthy remuneration for them. The service is available on hailing & app from various metro stations & popular hubs. Bikxie Pink has received widespread recognition globally for many of its social missions, like Women empowerment through up-skilling women coming from marginalized backgrounds & creating jobs for them, while also ensuring women safety during travel & delivery esp. on an affordable eco-friendly (run on ebikes) last mile tech-based solution. Bikxie has received a very warm welcome from customers, business partners, International and national media, global social welfare organizations, Large MNC’s, Union government authorities in India & International governments as well. Featured across more than 30 geographies in media across the globe and appreciated for an affordable, eco-friendly (operational on ebikes), tech savvy & safe commute for last mile. More so for women, having female pilots for women ensures safety for commuters and those receiving deliveries. Bikxie has got a huge media coverage within & outside the country through exclusive video stories by ChinaTV, LCI (France), AsiaNikkei (Japan), BBC, Discovery, CNN, NDTV, Zee, YourStory & Forbes (UK) among others. Union Minister Ramdas Athawale lauded Bikxie recently for providing employment to 100 women belonging to marginalized sections of the society & chartering out a roadmap to inclusive growth by employing thousands more.
