MatiMitra is a climate-tech startup focused on decentralized Biochar production and the generation of high-integrity Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) credits. We convert underutilized agricultural residues—specifically cotton stalks, pigeon pea stalks, and corn cobs—into biochar using specialized Kon-Tiki flame-curtain kilns. This biochar is then returned to the soil as a stable carbon sink and soil enhancer, while the resulting carbon sequestered is quantified and sold as carbon credits.
