MatteWave Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a semiconductor company incubated at SINE (Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship), the technology business ncubator of IIT Bombay. It has emerged from nearly 15 years of R&D at the IIT Bombay Nanofabrication Facility on electronic and photonic devices, particularly based on nitride semiconductors. MatterWave was incorporated to commercialize demonstrated technology capability, scale it up, and expand it. We seek to offer semiconductor solutions for communications and sensing/detection, for both terrestrial and space-based platforms. The key product and services lines being developed are: (i) Gallium Nitride (GaN) based devices for radio-frequency (RF) power applications, e.g. radar and communication base stations (ii) GaN based logic devices for highly integrated rugged solutions, along with (i)above (iii) GaN based photonic devices for underwater communication and sensing; GaN based single photon sources for quantum technologies.
