In their own words
Meenasha Naturals LLP(with brand name Protatva) is a Pune-based, women-led natural health and nutrition venture. The LLP is 96% woman-owned and is advised on nutritional science and preventive health by a practicing physician. We are developing whole-food-based daily nutrition products for Indian households, to be sold direct-to-consumer (D2C). The venture is presently at the product formulation stage and is working towards commercial launch. Formulations are proprietary and are being developed in-house. Manufacturing will be undertaken by FSSAI-licensed third-party contract manufacturing partners rather than in an owned facility, and raw material will be sourced through a network of partner natural farms in Maharashtra that follow chemical-free and regenerative growing practices. This structure is designed to give us traceability from farm to pack while supporting better realization for the farmers we work with. The portfolio under development addresses three everyday nutrition occasions in an Indian household: a premium plant-based performance protein for adults, a daily nutrition blend formulated for children, and an evening turmeric-based golden-milk premix. Each product is being built around recognisable whole foods rather than isolated synthetic actives, and is described to the consumer by the benefit it delivers in daily life. The operating model is deliberately asset-light. Capital is deployed into formulation, quality, brand and customer relationships rather than into a manufacturing plant, which allows the portfolio and volumes to scale without proportionate capital expenditure. On launch, revenue will be earned on the margin between landed product cost and the D2C retail price, strengthened over time by repeat and subscription purchase, family bundles, and progressive expansion into quick-commerce and modern retail.
