Meri Sakhi is registered service of 'THE FIRST STEP ENTERPRISES' under which we provide free home delivery of sanitary pads every month. This process follows- Any women can register at our online portal or whatsapp support panel with their Name & delivery details (Brand of sanitary Pad, Size, Qty required/month) and avail free home delivery of sanitary pads every month at no extra cost. Under this project we are also installing Sanitary pad vending machines (ANUPAMA - AAYA NARI ke liye UPHAR, PAD hai har MAHILA ka ADHIKAR), in various schools, colleges, public places with a mission to- Ease access of sanitary pads and not to face any shyness for a natural gift by god. Through, this project we are educating girls & womens about Period (one of the most unspoken topic) & menstrual hygiene for achieving & development of menstrual health of the country. Also, through this we are willing to break out the social stigma/ taboo related to Periods & Sanitary pads , Also to convert various Myths into facts. To achieve our target , our team is working at grass root level for educating girls & womens in both rural & urban areas. Trough, this project we are generating direct & indirect employment opportunity for womens which is giving a contribution to women empowerment as well. As a conclusion, our vision is to achieve easier & quality access of sanitary napkins to achieve menstrual health of womens & also to overcome with social stigma.
