In India, medium & small scale industries form backbone of industrial infrastructure. About 75% of the total industrial produce is contributed by small and medium scale industries. However, such an important segment has largely been neglected and these industries suffer in lack of technical expertise. These industries cannot afford to hire expert R&D team for their technical challenges and operate inefficiently, sometimes shut down, not being able to realise their full potential. METNMAT Innovations was founded by IIT Kharagpur graduates to provide high quality, one stop industrial solution to these industries. We develop products and solutions here in India, which by far were imported from countries like China & USA. We offer following innovations: 1). Most industrial problems need ground level industrial site visit. Research institutions find it difficult to execute at such ground level, however METNMAT personnel try to understand the problem holistically, on site. We give solutions which is best suitable to that industry keeping all its constraints (economic, infrastructural) in mind. 2). Our revenue model is based on the profit our solution gives to the industries, thus industries feel comfortable working with us. We are able to provide R&D services at more affordable price due to our extensive collaborations with several research institutes like IITs,CSIR etc. which gives us flexibility to use multiple resources. 3). Industries sometimes need solution as fast as possible. METNMAT being a private R&D company, dedicated only to serving industries, can move much faster than other research institutions. Thus, we try to make R&D in India, Affordable, Accessible and Accelerated, maintaining world class quality here in our own country.
