MNM engages with Airport operators, Airport Authority of India and other needed corporate bodies to seek their approval / permission to install “Avaan Excess Baggage Kiosk” in the airport. And runs the above mentioned services in the airports. MNM has already secured the approval at Mumbai with MIAL (Mumbai International Airport Limited) and the kiosk was installed in the month of March and the operations to this regard have already begun. The proposal at Delhi Airport is also cleared by DIAL (Delhi International Airport Limited) and the kiosk will soon be installed there. Other airports in talks and at the verge of closure are GHIAL (GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited), BIAL (Bangalore International Airport Limited) and Adani’s to install the same in the airports under their operational control. The unique value proposition of this business model is that customers who pay an insane amount of INR 400 – INR 500 per kg for their excess baggage to the airlines. But not anymore with the introduction of Avaan Excess Baggage. Avaan Excess Baggage has kiosks at the departure terminal of the airports near the check in counters. People can opt to ship their excess baggage through Avaan Excess baggage at prices as low as 1/5th – 1/4th of the airline charges based on the mode of transport.
