The proposed hospital will be housed in six storied with attic floor building having a plinth area of about 12,601 sft. The proposed hospital will have a parking in the basement floor, general wards / patient rooms, doctors rooms in the lower ground floor, general wards / patient rooms, VIP Rooms, doctors rooms in the first and second floor and operation theaters, labour rooms, recovery wards, ICUs, Gastroenterology Lab, dialysis rooms, doctors rooms, nurses rooms lounge etc. in the third floor. The proposed hospital will be having 140 beds. The layout of the wards and rooms will be scientifically designed to minimize the work of the nursing staff and provide basic amenities to the patients within the unit. The distances to be traveled by a nurse from bed areas to treatment room; pantry etc. will be kept to the minimum. Ward unit will include nursing station, doctors’ duty room, pantry, isolation room, treatment room, nursing store along with wards and toilets will be as per the norms. On an average one nursing station per ward will be provided. The building of the hospital will be eco-friendly and disabled (physically and visually handicapped) friendly. The buildings will be designed by competent architects and structural engineers and will be earth quake resistant and fire resistant. The circulation areas of the hospital which includes corridors, toilets, lifts, ramps, staircase and other common spaces etc. in the hospital will as per the industry norms. Besides the in-patient department the proposed hospital will run an Ambulatory Care Area (OPD) which will include general, medical, surgical, ophthalmic, ENT, dental, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, dermatology and venereology, psychiatry, neonatology, orthopedic and social service units. Adequate nursing services will be made available in the hospital.
