In their own words
At Piquic we are bringing down the cost and time to produce visual content (images and videos) for the advertising and e-commerce industry by adding automation and customisation to the manual photo shoots process for digital cataloguing, all this using computer vision and artificial intelligence. The Problem Statement: Images are critical to buy fashion online. 80% of the purchase decision depends on the image the user sees on a fashion commerce website. Manual image production is a time consuming and costly process due to the involvement of creative talent, models, studio space, logistics etc. Market Snapshot: A $300 Billion market globally and growing exponentially. The scale of this opportunity can be envisaged from the fact that just Flipkart in India processes 5 million images per month. Similarly Macy’s processes 2.4 million images per month. There is a big opportunity out there e-commerce companies have created in the image processing space just like they have created scope for logistics companies such as Delhivery in the last 5 years. Piquic Solution: Our software which was launched in Q4 2018 automates the photo shoots by eliminating the need for models, photographers, stylists, make up artists or editors required for a fashion shoot. After garments are shot, Piquic technology enabled with computer vision and artificial intelligence styles your favourite model using the latest styling trends to produce high quality images. Multiple image variations for each product: different models, different styling options, display the right image based on consumer behaviour. Manual Photo-Shoot vs. Piquic Photoshoot Cost: $6 per image vs .$1 per image Time to produce: 10 days vs. 30 mins Time spent in hunting for creative talent and models: indefinite vs. 0 Story So Far · Leaders in Manual Photoshoots and offline cataloguing.
