KalaCar Accessories is a physical retail store in Pimple Nilakh, Pune, on the main road connecting to the Mumbai-Pune expressway, offering car detailing, protection, and accessory services — window filming, PPF, ceramic and graphene coating, dashcams, seat covers, and audio upgrades. Launched in October 2025, the business is bootstrapped and family-run, co-operated with my brother, alongside my full-time corporate career in project management. In our first eight months, we've grown month-on-month sales by over 40% and gross profit by over 60% through hyper-local marketing — social media content, road signage, and B2B partnerships with used car dealers — without significant paid advertising spend. Our focus now is reaching operational breakeven, improving average ticket size through high-margin service upsell (ceramic and graphene coating specifically), and building a scalable playbook for local market penetration that could extend to other Pune neighborhoods and eventually other Tier-1/Tier-2 cities. We are seeking mentorship specifically in retail unit economics, scaling a single-location business into a multi-location model, high-ticket service sales conversion, and building a lean, cash-positive growth trajectory without external debt.
