Organik Truck was launched with a mission statement to make healthy food more accessible to a larger section of urban India. Both by geography and price point. For far too long it has been the prerogative of the wealthy. The time has come to make healthy food both affordable and convenient to access. Our organization continues to work towards disrupting and completely democratizing the organic food industry in Mumbai. The benefits of organic food cannot be understated. The industry is growing at 21% year on year. Yet, currently less than 0.1% of Mumbai’s population of 2.1 crores has switched to organic. Why? It boils down to three reasons. Pricing. Credibility. Convenient accessibility. Every day more and more people are moving towards healthy living. More people are getting preventive health checkups done. What’s more preventive and switching to a healthier diet? Or switching to organic food? Yes people need a nudge. That’s where Organik Truck comes in. Organik Truck makes healthy food more affordable and convenient to access. It caters to both the type of customers - the ones that want to choose their own produce and the ones who want their food door-delivered. It is the only retailer that offers convenience to both these customers.
