Murtiwala aims to empower the artisan community and bring eco-friendly technologies to craft work to ensure its relevance and sustainability. The problem we plan to address is the lack of direct clients for artisans, as well as the lack of quality control and credibility in existing aggregator platforms. To address this problem, we are building a set of web-platforms that provide spaces for artisans across different crafts, eliminating the role of middlemen, and giving artisans the option to opt for end-to-end services or to just access business queries depending on the package they select. Additionally, we provide a range of digital manufacturing solutions to aid artisans in maintaining quality, so they can compete with factory-built products. Currently, we are in the pre-revenue phase and are offering our solutions for free to gain traction. However, we believe that the D2C market in India is poised to create a $100+ billion market opportunity by 2025, growing at a CAGR of 25% between 2020-2025. Our unique selling point is our platform for each craft/art and our goal to eliminate intermediaries between artisans and buyers. Our target market is the 1600 Cr Indian market for Stone Sculptures and Handicrafts.
