Mysore Ammonia Cryogenic Storages Private Limited (MACSPL), co-sponsored by Mysore Ammonia group, is a midstream infrastructure platform, focused on developing supply chain infrastructure (storage and transportation) solutions for grey ammonia in India. MACSPL is currently developing a portfolio of large, independent port-based and inland ammonia storage and associated transport infrastructure assets on build-own-operate basis to meet the existing and upcoming import requirements among fertilizer, chemical and other industrial users. A supply chain solution as described above enables a grey ammonia offtaker/trader to create value by: • Accelerating growth of their respective businesses through combined complementary strengths, efforts and capital of the two partners • Transferring performance obligations and risks (around building and operating ammonia handling facilities) to a capable and specialist operating partner with focus on storage & logistics and with strong capabilities in handling of hazardous materials, who will ensure provision of highest quality customer service and operational continuity • Releasing capital from building/owning non-core, under-utilised infrastructure assets and instead redeploying lower-cost infrastructure capital into higher return investments across its other businesses towards its growth needs Mysore Ammonia group, established in 1963, is a leading downstream player in the industrial (non-fertiliser) market for ammonia in India. As part of its downstream operations, Mysore Ammonia provides end-to-end solutions to its industrial customers including sourcing (incl imports), trading, value-added supply, logistics of ammonia/related products and EPC solutions for small-medium scale ammonia transfer, storage and usage systems.
