NEXTGEN TEXTILE LLP is a technology-driven textile startup focused on sustainable manufacturing and direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion. We address two critical problems in India's textile sector: high fabric wastage (up to 30%) and lack of supply chain transparency for ethically sourced garments. Our innovation lies in three pillars: 1. Smart Manufacturing: We use AI-based fabric optimization software that reduces cutting waste by 25–30%, directly improving margins and reducing environmental impact. We also employ IoT-enabled looms to monitor production quality in real-time. 2. Sustainable Sourcing: We partner directly with weaver clusters in Delhi NCR and rural Uttar Pradesh, eliminating middlemen. Our raw materials include organic cotton, recycled polyester (from PET bottles), and natural dyes — ensuring zero hazardous chemical discharge. 3. Tech-Enabled Retail: Our proprietary e-commerce platform (under development) will feature virtual try-on using augmented reality (AR), allowing customers to visualize ethnic wear before purchase — reducing return rates and enhancing customer experience. Scalability: We plan to onboard 200+ weavers and artisans within 3 years, scale our D2C platform to 5 lakh+ monthly users, and expand to 10 exclusive retail outlets across metro cities. We aim to generate direct employment for 50+ skilled workers and indirect livelihood for 500+ artisans. Market Opportunity: India's apparel market is projected to reach $200 billion by 2030. With our sustainable-tech model, we target the growing segment of eco-conscious consumers (Gen Z and Millennials), estimated at 40% of the urban fashion market. We have already secured initial orders worth ₹15 lakhs and are in talks with two global sustainable fashion brands for B2B sourcing agreements."
