Nhanks Waste Recyclers Private Limited
Ludhiana, Punjab
In their own words
India is producing tons of Municipal Solid Waste daily which is damaging our environment immensely. Current methods to process M.S.W. are compacting, caping, pyrolysis, scientific landfill, bio-reclamation, etc. which is not proving to be effective as the M.S.W. waste is much more than the process of disposing it. M.S.W. waste produce enormous amount of Greenhouse gases producing 90% to 98% of methane, carbon dioxide and bad odour from landfill and leachates (liquid containing innumerable organic and inorganic compounds) which is creating air and soil pollution. The landfills are overflowing with waste. The old technologies were focused on caping and compacting the waste, however now a days the situation is out of control. During rainfall, the dumped solid wastes receive water and the by-products of its decomposition move into the water through the waste deposition. This also contaminates groundwater resources. Our Start-up is designed to dispose “100 tons of M.S.W. within 24 hours without segregation and without causing any pollution.”
