Who we are? We are a just formed Food and Nutrition start up by the name of Nirayu Foods Pvt Ltd by Sumeet and Ajeet Kalbag. Sumeet Kalbag is a Chemical engineer turned businessman having worked in an array of sectors right from Water Technology to Chemical Trading and Iron and Steel. Now at the helm of the family business of water purification and also a company which supplies ancillary parts to other water purification companies. Ajeet Kalbag is a Chef by training with a total experience of 23 years handling kitchens of various restaurants and also a Culinary and Restaurant consultant having setup up 30 successful food and beverage businesses around Pune and Mumbai. We aspire to become a name that will make an unforgettable impression in the minds of our consumers, stakeholders and communities. We will strive to deliver better products by continuing on our path of innovation, learning and improvement. Our Mission Statement At Nirayu foods we are committed to manufacture, sell and distribute a range of distinctly innovative, high-quality foods and beverages that consistently deliver Convenience, Nutrition and Taste to enhance the lives of our customers while striving to achieve growth for our stakeholders, associates, distributors, customers and communities. Integrity, Innovation, Righteousness, Continuous Learning, Constant Improvement, Leadership, Ownership and Quality are our Core Values and Guiding Principles. What we want to do? The 1st brand that we plan to launch is a start up in the Meat analogue or Vegan Meat industry to manufacture and market Pea, Soy or/ and wheat protein based ready to cook and ready to eat products based on a range of cuisines with excellent taste and nutritive values. We also aim to try and break the taste and cost barrier, which are the major deterrent for consumers that we feel at this moment, to make our products not only taste nice but also have a good bite and be affordable to the general demographic in India as well as in the international markets. We are looking at broadly 2 verticals: Ready to Cook (RTC) and Ready to Eat (RTE).
