Nisarg Agripreneurship Foundation, India, is a social entrepreneurship development initiative. We aim to conceptualise, develop, innovate and democratize solutions to increase the income of the marginalised communities in India. Members of our team have been working on developing Agro-based and Artisanal industries for the last 15 years, using a cluster based approach with the idea of social entrepreneurship and sustainability at its core. We believe that together with technological innovations, India’s entrepreneurial spirit and strong grass-root level interventions we can bring forth incremental and sustainable change. We are active across 12 States in the country: Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and Uttarakhand. Nisarg Agripreneurship Foundation also serves as a technical agency for the Ministry of MSME Govt. of India’s SFURTI scheme, assisting in 32 Approved SFURTI projects ranging from Artisanal Toy Making Clusters to Modern Innovative Agro-based Clusters across 7 states. In our pursuit to upgrade the artisans in these clusters, we have developed the MONETARI Ecosystem which serves as a one-stop Block-Chain Secured, ERP, Cluster Monitoring, Data Analysis, and Value Redistribution solution for these clusters. We have actively worked with these clusters to make them Industry 4.0 ready and are developing the “Fankaar” App which will serve as a collaborative platform for artisans all over the country for Product and Design Development. We have been working together with Agro-producers and artisans in developing employment and skill up-gradation solutions for them. Over the years we have specialized in: 1. Processing and Value addition Technology with IoT based innovations and 4.0 upgrades. 2. Artisanal and Agro-based product development. 3. Design development and design based interventions. 4. Development of new-age IT solutions for Indian MSMEs such as Affordable BlockChain technology, App development, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning-Based Insight Generation solutions, and Digital Image processing based quality control measures. 5. Development and collaboration for Marketing linkages for the artisans and Agro-producers associated with us using Data based market insights. Our Team is led by Prof. A.K. Mudgal who is a Professor of Biotechnology, Microbiologist, an expert of Value addition technology and product development, he is also one of the pioneers and authority in the field of sustainable development. He serves as the core of Nisarg Foundation’s workforce. Our CEO Nidhi Chaturvedi serves as the primary centre of concept development, implementation and is adept in developing ways to make technology work for India’s MSME sector. In the future Nisarg Agripreneurship Foundation hopes to assist the MSME sector of our country by democratisation of technology by developing and sharing affordable solutions for the problems faced by the sector. We have and always will aim for sustainable growth for the communities associated with us and for the Nation.
