NORTH EAST RENEWABLE ENERGYRESEARCH LAB established in March 2019 based in Jorhat is a research Centre designed for applied solar energy which aims to undertake and promote projects for rural as well as urban areas of the country and North East States in particular. The organization is supported by different Government bodies . We are taking up wide range of R&D initiatives in the field of Renewable Energy for upscaling as well as upliftment of the underprivileged people. In view of the same to upscale the income of the village farmers and cut down the dependency of electricity, NERERL aims to provide easy farming and will provide solution to increase the productivity of the farmers at low cost. NERERL has created a revolutionary new approach to bring affordable solar electricity to everyone in Assam and beyond. We are also trying to interconnect solar home systems into smart microgrids, monetizing solar energy with mobile money. Following the recent advancement in Solar energy in today’s day and age, a surge is seen in the effectuation of it in various fields of work, to promote Women Empowerment through Electrification NERERL designed inventories are distributed among them. Primarily eyeing the growth of locality villages, the later stages shall capitalize on the development of the state and country to attain the sustainable goal
