NorthEast Guide is a travel and tourism start-up, committed to building the future of how people explore and experience our beautiful North-East India. Experiences that connect the customers with the roots of North East India. We are targeting all the tourist and travellers coming to North East India for authentic village experiences. Tourist who want to discover our culture, taste our cuisine, see the natural beauty, wear ethnic dresses, listen to year-old music. Today, most people working 9 to 5 are facing anxiety, depression, stress. Everyone wants a break from the urban jungle and looking to go back to our old happy days amidst nature. This has now become a trend and thousands of people joining the club every day.Travel and Tourism sector is growing exponentially in North East India. “ Northeast India registered 77 lakh domestic tourists and 1.6 lakh foreign tourist in the year 2016, which is expected to grow at more than 5.2% during 2017-18”– According to Reshmi Verma, secretary ministry of tourism. Travelling to NorthEast India and exploring it, is a hassle. With so many different places, language and terrain, one finds it difficult to choose where to go and how to go. Also connectivity, accessibility and accommodation are few of the major issues. Most of the people outside NorthEast India does not know about the people, culture, language, food, dresses, music of NorthEast India. People Only visit the commercial tourist places and never able to touch the authentic culture, food and nature of this region.We are providing a common platform (Online booking through our website) for travellers and tourist where they can book all travel and accommodation, connect to the best local guides and access in-depth local information when travelling in North East India. Also, we are constantly working our part toward solving the issue of unemployment in North East India by generating means of livelihood for the unemployed skilled locals. We believe in the idea of Local Sustainable Economic Development and strive towards practising the same. We are engaging local skilled youths and villagers with eco-tourism and helping them to become micro-entrepreneurs. It also gives the tourist an authentic experience and they can explore the real village life in North East India. We bridge the gap between travellers and local service providers across North East India. While working towards providing the ease of travel, we ensure that ever-larger proportions of the benefits from tourism trickle down to the local populations. We are working on to create a network which can benefit both travellers and local service providers.
