Oceancleanerz is a newly established company and initiative with the goal of cleaning up the river Ganga and the Indian Ocean Gyre. (IOGCP- Indian Ocean Gyre Cleaning Project). We have come up with Flipper and Makara, which are AI-enhanced automated waterbody cleaning devices. These devices have the potential to collect anywhere from 150 kg to 500 tonnes of floating plastic wastes if they are ramped up. Our goal is to have water bodies all over the Asian continents that are more sanitary and in better condition. We are also collaborating with government agencies to put his innovations for cleaning rivers and lakes in Indian cities into action there. In order to rid the oceans of plastic, not only do we need to clean up what is already there, but we also need to halt new plastic from entering the ocean; in other words, we need to turn off the faucet. Our mission is to reduce pollution in these 1,000 rivers around the world by collaborating with public officials, private citizens, and commercial businesses. These rivers are among the most polluted in the world.
