OncoSphera creates technology innovations for N-of-1 method of cancer patient management. Clinical decisions during early stages of cancer is well defined. However, as the patient moves into advanced stages of cancer where it becomes metastatic, un-resectable, post- primary treatment, the tumor generates complex disease biology and becomes difficult to treat. Cancer patient treatment guidelines mirror these changes and these guidelines too become complex, replete with multiple suggestions that the oncologist must choose based on their practice experience. Thus, the oncologist may administer the therapy combination to the patient without considering fully, the unique disease biology of that patient’s tumor. If the patient does not respond in a few cycles of therapy administration, the oncologist may replace it with a different therapy combination. Thus the therapy trial happens on the patient’s body. OncoSphera Pvt Ltd will address this problem and device technology innovations to elucidate the best cancer therapy for each specific patient, everytime, during the advanced cancer treatment. OncoSphera will suggest the precise therapy of therapy combinations that will treat the patient tumor and the ones which will have no effect. Thus, the trial of therapies on patient’s tumor will occur OUTSIDE the patient’s body, rather INSIDE. Thus, the patient will not have to tolerate the extreme side effects of various therapies while the best one is identified. OncoSphera Pvt Ltd will use cell model technologies, genomics and artificial intelligence to identify the best suited therapy combination specific to every patient. Genomics has been used currently as one of the tools in precision oncology. However, combining cell model technologies and artificial intelligence to it will create a method that will reveal precise therapy combination that will work for each of the different cancer patients.
