In their own words
We are a 2 women-led direct to customer online retail store specialising in clothes primarily swimwear and Resort wear. We have a small manufacturing unit in Delhi and we source all raw materials from India and produce all our clothes locally. We started our clothing business in April 2022 to address the big gap in the Indian swimwear market. Most Indian women prefer to buy swimwear from international brands with subpar quality because if they select an Indian brand with good quality, the price points are extremely high. To top this, there are extremely limited options to select from. Swimwear and beachwear market is projected to grow massively in the next 5 years in India and internationally, and we would like to be a part of this growth. What we already offer to our customers is great quality fabric and competitive pricing and sizing as per Indian body types. We have already established our business model and our supply chain, but we recognise the need of funds to grow and scale the business hereon. There is a lot of potential to grow and we have identified areas which need allocation of funds on priority which will make significant difference in our growth and revenue. We have organically been featured in big fashion publications such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar to name a few but our aim is to reach as many people as possible through a complete 360 marketing effort. We would like to expand our employee base to increase capacity, get more storage space, upgrade our website and other technology to make more informed business decisions. We have received a lot of accolades from our customers, celebrities and influencers with regards to promoting body positivity and providing good quality clothing that is made in India and we want to continue to strive to enhance our cause for which we need additional funding.
