My name is Jay Padariya. I have completed my B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering from Junagadh agriculture university. We all Agriculture Graduates are going to one start up a project related to agriculture product. The name of our start-up project is the “K4-Kesar” project. We belong to a farming background, and hence we would like to work for the betterment of the farmers. Therefore, we are doing this startup without any kind of marginal profit and loss. As during summers, these are the days when we can enjoy the delicious mangoes. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the mango growing farmers are suffering the huge loss as they are not able to send their mangoes to the potential markets in the other parts of the state. In this project, our aim is to provide the best quality of Kesar Mangoes which is one of the best mango variety in the world, originated from Junagadh (Talala – Gir ), Gujarat. We intend to provide export quality mangoes to our Gujarat public at a Farmer’s rate and which will henceforth be beneficial to mango farmers. The main intention of our project is, especially considering COVID-19 and farmers' right, we are interlinking between the farmers and consumers, and thereby supplying Kesar Mango from Gir region, Gujarat farmer’s farm directly to the home of the buyer. We have a good and stratified network, so our team is working in all the big cities and also have the support of farmers. Precisely stating Our Aim: • The purpose of this project is farmers do not get nutritious prices as per the current situation and people are not getting qualitative goods at lower prices. We are directly supplying Mangoes to people through Farmer's Farm. • Without any kind of marginal profit loss • Our aim is to give nutritious prices to our Farmers. • People can get qualitative goods at a lower price. • We can prevent spreading of COVID-19. Our aim is to drag the farmers and buyers in a single platform. We have started marketing, also have an overwhelming response through the farmers and buyers. We have our own website where buyers and farmers both can sell and buy. Presently considering the pandemic situation, we are planning that we would first take the orders from different parts of the state and we would fix 2-3 days in a month, for supplying and delivering the mangoes. Since we are providing the online platform to the buyers and suppliers (farmers), which would be beneficial to all the people, hence in this way, we will try our best to maintain the dignity of the lockdown situation.
