At 'Padmabeej Corporate Private Limited', we are building a social media marketplace named 'getmarket'. Initially, 'getmarket' will be available to users in the form of a mobile application and a website. Platform enables users to interact and socialise on it as a social media platform but at the same time they can perform commerce activities over there. Sellers can sell their products; buyers can buy those, and influencers can create content. Sellers after listing their products/ services on the marketplace makes them visible in search tab but they also can link those products/ services when they post something on platform. Users on this platform are characterised in three categories based on their commerce and social media activities, This classification is dynamic. A user can be in a role of all of these at different moments. But he/she is in only one category at any one moment. 1. Buyer - The user who buys something on the platform. Also, whoever does not come in second and third category is considered as a buyer for ease of classification. 2. Seller - User with a seller account, who lists the products &/ services on the platform and whose products &/ services is being purchased now, is considered as a seller. 3. Influencer - This category of user is not actively buying or selling something but through their content/ posts they influence the buying &/ selling decision of the platform. The platform also enables all the users to create their community groups and leverage these groups for commerce activities within the platform. These community groups shall and will showcase the purpose for which these groups are primarily made, in order to make users well informed before joining them. This platform was basically ideated and then is getting built as a ‘social media marketplace’ platform from day one, none (social media and marketplace) being the added feature to another prebuilt platform. This makes all the features work in symphony with one another.
