Our product “PEDGEN APP” provides the service of Tele consultation between doctors and patients/common persons; health workers being the facilitator especially in rural/suburban/slum area. We have focused on the mechanism/module in which doctors, patients and health workers all from same local area/community/catchment area invites their trustworthy counterpart in this platform as we have the concept of phone directory of concerned stackholders within the App ,a game changing concept of bringing a small group of concerned silos people/institutions to fulfil our health demands. Thus a System of Doctors, Health Workers and Patients in same locality/catchment is formed. Similarly in the App we have made mechanism to invite Hospitals, Ambulances, Blood banks in their local catchment area and Health Insurance company whom the stakeholders are concerned of with the prime principles of moving from silos to systems. And finally an Eco-system is evolved in mobile platform. These health care facilities providers and the payer once come on PEDGEN platform. A patient/common person can add these facilities in their own login to complete their individualized health care needs. We believe it will be “JAN ANDOLAN” because of users collective responsibility and the desire for bringing health care in Mobile technology, the last sector to make entry at a mass level but the most important one. Our competitors such as PRACTO, MFINE, LYBRATE, etc are all focusing on urban areas.How can they abandon Rural India? All of them are trying to get established in wake of COVID-19 with no focus on “TRUST” the basis of Doctor-Patient relationship . None have the solution for providing healthcare to rural illiterate people who doesn’t have smartphone. We have come with a solution to this problem by enabling Health Workers as facilitator in these areas. Rural/Suburban/Slum Health workers can be anyone of the following but not limited to the following designations. Here we collectively called them as “PEDGEN Durchikitsha Swasthya Mitra”. 1. ACCREDIATED SOCIAL HEALTH ACTIVISTS (ASHA) 8. AUXILLARY NURSE MIDWIFE (HEALTH SUB-CENTER) 9. MULTIPURPOSE WORKER (MPW) {MALE HEALTH WORKER} 10. LADY HEALTH VISITOR 11. HEALTH ASSISTANT 12. ALLIED HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS Today every health workers in rural area have smartphones and have knowledge of payment gateway and majority have two-wheeler too. Advocating only for utilisation of “In-Person/Face-to-Face” healthcare facilities has resulted in the outcome that in spite of nationally driven health programs, access and fulfilment of healthcare needs for much of the population in rural areas is still inadequate even after 73 years of India’s Independence. Since Telemedicine is legalised, we can now utilise the health workers’ acquired skills for administering drugs and provide clinical professional training for assessment of patients to the untrained one to enable the management of patients both urban and rural under the supervision of Registered Medical Practitioners (RMPs) through Tele-Consultation. Worthy to mention all our competitors are providing Tele consultation with the doctors whom the patient might have never visited at least once face-to-face. How can one trust upon a person/doctor whom one has never seen , never heard of ? TRUST is the foundation of Doctor-Patient relationship. We have solved this basic problem. Thus, PEDGEN is working with a vision to create a platform to articulate “common language” for pan-India interoperability .
