Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Duct Tubes are installed in commercial Buildings like Mall, Companies, indoor stadiums etc to maintain room temperature and air quality. Commercial buildings such as malls, companies, indoor stadiums, hotels, etc., maintain room temperature and air quality through the air conditioning duct tubes. However, cleaning and maintenance of these HVAC ducts remains challenging as it require advanced machineries, safe chemicals and skilled manpower. Since the quality of the air and AC unit performance depend on the deep and effective cleaning strategies used inside the ducts, high–end smart robotics system equipped with camera and cleaning gadgets attracts the duct cleaning market significantly. These ducts have to be maintained in good condition in order to provide the desired air quality. Many companies are running throughout the world to provide maintenance services. They will be cleaning the ducts by humans going inside the ducts with proper cleaning equipment’s. Proposed Solution: Instead of manual scavenging we manufacture robot to clean the hvac/pipeline ducts. Our proposed product uses AC power supply and hence can be operated for long hours. In addition, the robot will be integrated with 170° wide front camera, where the vertical angle could be moved up to 90° through a servo motor. This unique feature in the proposed product would facilitate the technician to have wide area inspection of the ducts. The presence of belt drive in the robot will provide the required traction for climbing inclination up to 45°. Also brushes will be fixed on the robot to clean the surface of the belt in order to get a better traction on the smooth surface of duct. The Initial manufacturing cost of the product is 10, 20,000/-(ten lakh twenty thousand only). While comparing existing system it will be very affordable to the user.
