Phobosgold Appraisals intends to set right the anomalies of today’s gold appraisal system where huge amounts of spurious gold, frauds and colluding have resulted in significant losses to many Banks. While bankers insist for due diligence in every process of all loan appraisals, gold loan appraisals are still left to the mercy of traditional appraisers who have no apparent responsibility or most of times the ability to indemnify. Banks, on the one hand, would want to aggressively expand on the Gold Loan front and surprisingly, on the other hand, are still dependent on a non-reliant system to evaluate gold value worth crores of rupees. As experienced bankers, we have seen the need to replace the system. We propose to bring in technology and experience together, to train & groom highly skilled gold evaluators. Backed by the strength of a strong company with experienced Bankers to co-ordinate operations, Banks can confidently build their gold loan portfolio to the optimum
