PIXMonks Solutions Pvt Ltd. About a year back, started our journey in a small town, a sleepy tier-3 city (Tanjore), leveraging local talent, training them in creating world class products. Today, we are firmly set in our journey having managed to train and bring up local talent to global standards that allows us to deliver programs to our clients in Singapore and Dubai. We are now on the cusp of realizing our dream and about to launch our flagship product – PIMerce, that will allow sellers and brands on ecommerce marketplaces to gain cutting edge insights and empower them to grow their business. PIMerce is designed to work with different retailers and marketplaces across the world, leveraging a big data platform in the backend and advanced data analysis algorithms. Strategy and Focus PIXMonks has a two-pronged strategy to offer software services and create next gen products. This strategy has been adopted as we rely on fresh talent from the market. We train them from ground and provide exposure in building world class solutions. In addition, this has created a positive cash flow for us and allows us to remain self-funded not relying on any debt/investments in the foreseeable future. We have 2 main areas of focus 1. Ecommerce – We are developing a next gen ecommerce solution targeted at brands and SME’s that sell in online through retailers and marketplaces such as amazon/flipkart/bigbasket etc. This solution will provide real-time intelligence to optimize their marketing and sales efforts providing visibility across both demand and supply chain. 2. IOT – As varied as it may sound, we are preparing our workforce to handle next gen IOT services as the 5G revolution will kick-in. Currently, we are building solutions for startups based in Singapore who are creating three factor authentication and authorization solutions leveraging NFC and physical device proximity as factors to authenticate and create strong and secure applications and products. Talent Development Our current talent pool is largely sourced locally from colleges in and around Tanjore. We are also now venturing to source talent from art colleges and govt schools. We have created a development program in-house and train our recruits for more than 6 months intensively to bridge the huge gap they have vis-à-vis employability elsewhere. We have realized through the past year, the quality and focus our education system in places like Tanjore offers is not doing enough justice to make them employable. We invest over 6 months of time to train them and subsequently they shadow on our pool of senior folks on projects to become productive. Future Development We see a bright future to our approach and product. A few MNCs have already shown interest in our solution. Few competitors exist in the world who currently provide such a product but none holistically across planning and execution. We will be leading this and tapping into a large market beginning with Asia. We envisage building new connected solutions leveraging IOT and 5G capabilities. We currently have in pipeline solutions to trace water consumption at a tap level to help with conservation efforts. We hope that similar efforts and ideas will evolve in the consumer IOT space and PIXMonks will be a pioneer in this field in the coming years. Our commitments are firmly rooted in uplifting communities and our strategy to employ underprivileged talent from small towns we hope will be our small effort in nation building.
