Planet Abled provides accessible travel solutions and leisure excursions for people with various disabilities and the elderly. India is a land of so much diversity but a lot of times people with disabilities are apprehensive of travelling because they are at a loss of information about accessibility. Planet Abled strives to break that barrier and provide inclusive solutions based on Universal Design Concepts. One can travel solo, with family, go on a romantic getaway, travel as an institution or organization or join a group tour at over 40 plus destinations across the Indian subcontinent and few countries globally as of now. Based on various travel themes like heritage, cultural immersion, adventure, wellness and spirituality. Planet Abled was awarded as one of the best innovative practice by Zero Project Conference at United Nations Vienna in 2018. Planet Abled has also been the recipient of India Responsible Tourism Award by Outlook Traveller and World Travel Market, London - Best Innovation in Travel & Overall Winner and NCPEDP - Mphasis Universal Design Award. People from over 15 countries are there to vouch for the wonderful Indian experiences with Planet Abled including the blind cricket team of Australia and Paralympians from Canada. Planet Abled has also represented India as a major accessible travel destination on global platform like ITB Berlin and Global Sustainable Tourism Council Conference. Our main aim – To bring a paradigm shift in the way people travel by converting people with disabilities into avid travellers and creating a platform for inclusive tourism alongside.
