The proposed startup is for development & manufacturing of First physiotherapeutic equipment which is specially designed for Children suffering from Cerebral Palsy Disease and they are between the age 3 to 7 years. Cerebral Palsy is a disorder of young children where the walking milestones are delayed and when achieved, the child walks with spasticity. Often babies with cerebral palsy do not roll over, sit, crawl, or walk as early as other children of their age. Signs and symptoms vary among children. Often, symptoms include spasm in the muscles, poor coordination, stiffness in joints and muscles, weakness in muscles, and sometimes tremors. Some of these children have problem with vision and hearing. The speech is often delayed. Rarely the body sensations and swallowing is also affected. Some symptoms do not form part of cerebral palsy but are usually associated with this disorder. These are seizures and problems with thinking or reasoning. The only treatment of cerebral palsy disease is physiotherapy. The children suffering from Cerebral Palsy Disease take physiotherapy as a burden and show their natural resistance against any such therapy imposed on them. Only way to overcome this is to develop a physiotherapy equipment on which they can play around the day. In India there are approx 37.50 Lacs children in the age group of 3 to 7 years who are suffering from Cerebral Palsy Disease. The present infrastructure for physiotherapy for treatment of these children are available in only some designated institutions/cities with limited numbers of seats. Inspite of the fact that physiotherapy is required for children suffering from CP disease not only on daily basis but also several times in regular intervals in a day which is only possible when these equipments are available at home. At present no such type of physiotherapeutic equipment is available in the market.
