We’re building an AI architect and interior design assistant — starting with professional designers and studios, and eventually expanding to anyone designing a space. Architecture and interior design is a massive industry, yet the core tools haven’t meaningfully evolved in over 20 years. Designers still rely on slow 3D modeling software, manual drafting, and repetitive rendering cycles. Every client revision requires reworking layouts, re-rendering visuals, and manually fixing technical details. It’s time-consuming, expensive, and limits how much a studio can scale. Meanwhile, AI image tools can generate beautiful interiors in seconds — but they ignore floor plans, dimensions, structural walls, plumbing constraints, and real-world feasibility. The results look impressive, but they aren’t buildable. Designers still have to rebuild everything manually. We tested existing LLM and multimodal systems, including GPT- and Gemini-based workflows. They are not built for spatial intelligence. They struggle to accurately read floor plans, interpret scaled drawings, or respect structural constraints. We realized this cannot be solved with generic AI layers. It requires a purpose-built system designed specifically for architecture. PLINT bridges that gap. Our system reads floor plans, understands spatial dimensions and constraints, and generates technically accurate, ready-to-execute interior outputs in minutes. Instead of producing inspiration images, we automate real design workflows — from layout exploration to production-ready visuals. Designers iterate faster, handle more projects, and reduce revision fatigue. In simple terms, we’re turning architecture and interior design from a slow manual production process into a fast, structured system. We’ve validated the problem with 50+ architects and interior designers and built a working prototype.
