Ponsanthan Botanicals Private Limited is a young and dynamic company founded by Dr. Santhan Ponnutheertha Giri, a senior botanist and plant taxonomist with over three decades of industrial experience in the natural products, nutraceutical, and Indian medicine sectors. Established just a year ago, the company is driven by a strong vision to bring innovation and sustainability to the herbal and nutraceutical industry through the development of bioresource-based products. The company is guided by two dedicated directors. Dr. Santhan Ponnutheertha Giri, a veteran natural product expert with more than 35 years of experience, has significantly contributed to natural product research and product development across various domains. Mrs. Malathi Santhan, a postgraduate in Mathematics and Bachelor of Education with 30 years of teaching experience, serves as a sincere and progressive director committed to steering the organization toward consistent growth and excellence. Ponsanthan Botanicals focuses on the development and marketing of a wide range of herbal and natural products. The company plans to introduce about 20 varieties of herbal teas, including Brahmi, Durva, Shajan, Gokhru, Kalmegh, Punarnava, Bhumiamla, Amla, Bhringraj, Bael, Neem, Arjun, Varun, Shatavari, Banana Pith, Bitter Orange, Gudmar, Bala, Aloe, and others. In addition, the product range will include dried fruits such as mango, banana, and coconut, as well as food mixes and biscuits made from natural ingredients. The marketing strategy emphasizes multi-channel distribution — through retail networks (malls), commercial platforms like IndiaMART and Amazon, an own e-commerce website, and exports through global contacts.
