The company now has designed its own power terrain technology and is launching sustainable pure electric vehicles for commercial, farm, defense and off road utility applications. The companies mission is to deliver zero tail pipe emission for global foot prints. Technology: Powerland has developed high efficiency In-wheel motors for its vehicles which eliminates the traditional motor and gearbox driveline on the chassis. The motor is a direct drive to the wheel helping in reduction in weight, low NVH levels, and improved power delivery on wheels. Torque variability- Having motors in each wheel provides torque distribution individually to each wheel which helps in improved handling, better traction and stability over corners. Design freedom- No drivetrain component meaning flexibility in design. PATENT The company has received provisional patents for its motor design and a unique feature which provides the vehicle to Spot Steer at one location.
