Praesagus RTPO is an India based O&G technology firm that provides specialized technology using deep domain expertise and artificial intelligence to optimize reservoir sweep and production of O&G assets. Praesagus RTPO has a track record of successful optimization of oil and gas assets in the past 9 years with Indian as well as global oil and gas companies. The company recently won the Best Idea Award for Innovation from Vedanata for delivering additional reserve recovery of approximately 5 MMSTB and accelerated production of approximately 3000 barrels/day in their Mangala field. Mangala field represents India’s highest producing fields and any increase in Mangala field’s oil production directly impacts the lives of every Indian. The RSO technology and it’s application in the Mangala field represents significant benefit to the society India currently imports more than 80% of its crude oil needs. This is a severe drain on India’s public funds. Thus, increasing India’s domestic crude oil production is of critical importance for the nation. If applied nationwide, Praesagus RTPO technology and service offering can deliver 10% additional production from India’s existing production which will amount to approximately 80000 barrels/day which will reduce the import of crude oil by 3% and save approximately US $ 1.5 Billion in foreign currency import spending.
