Children are naturally creative and have an unfathomable capacity to learn. The agency of children needs to be given significant role in their education. We need to trust children and develop learner-centered activities, materials, processes to let them learn and grow according to their interest and pace. Prakriti Initiatives (PI) suggests the Tinkering LAB [T-LAB] based on the Natural Learning Model* as one of the progressive steps in this regard. T-LAB aspires to give space to children to learn and grow in an environment of trust, responsibility and freedom. T-LAB serves as a gathering point for tools, projects, collection of activities, ever-growing repository of materials and different work stations. Children spend time here exploring their ideas freely and learn according to their interest and at their pace.
