Pratap Digital Communications Private Limited will be doing reasearch and developing sensor's, specialized optical fiber cables for various used cases focusing on fire, heat, pressure, thermal resistance based technology. The Company is in process of setting up manufacturing facility for optical fiber cables in Smart Industrial park Near Indore. The Promotors of the company are having long experince of fiber networking and its maintanance.At the same time our team members have sufficient experience in handling optical fiber and cable manufacturing. With the experience we have inhouse and the knowlede of Optical Fiber technology ,we intent to develop variose types of sensors based fiber like :- 1) Temperature sensor, 2) Pressure/strain Sensor, 3) Sensors for biomedical application. Fiber Sensors are very cost effective, user friendly and most precise, they are much ahead of conventional types of sensors interms of cost and reliability. Applications- 1) Temperature Sensors: These sensors can be very effectively used to sense the HOT SPOT in buildings like Hotels, Hospitals, Malls where there is large assembly of human beings. The optical fiber sensor can sense precisely development of hot spot and it can give the exact location of the same, whereas conventional type of fire alarm system starts working only when there is a case of fire. That means the sensor can prevent fire because of its real time monitoring ability. This type of sensors can also monitor health of the machines by real time observation of the heating compenent before the break down occurs. 2)Pressure/Strain Sensors: The simplest application is loadcells/pressure transducer. It can be very useful in monitoring health of over bridges and such structures by giving real time indication of any deformation in the structure.Since we have full fledged laboratory, instrumentation and trained manpower to give commercial shape to the technology obsorbed by the team. 3)Biomedical Applications: Optical fiber is used in many ways in different biomedical instruments, which can be taken up by our team one after another.
