Conventionally available cancer therapy for example chemotherapy lacks precision and causes toxicity problems. Therefore, targeted drug delivery is preferred as an alternative method to reduce side effects and improve drug bioavailability. But there are problems of drug leakage before reaching the site. Hence CQDs (carbon quantum dots) are the next nano-materials for efficient targeting agents with dual nano carriers properties of bioimaging and targeted drug delivery with minimum cytotoxicity.
