The New Indian (www.newindian.in) led by highly accomplished journalists -- Ms Aarti Tikoo, an alumna of Columbia University who has worked in India and the US across some of the biggest organizations like HT, TOI, BBC, UN and IANS; Mr Rohan Dua, an alumnus of St Stephen’s and LSE, who earlier worked as Political Editor at The Times of India, foreign news agency Reuters and several TV channels , and Mr Pramod Kumar Singh, who earlier served at The Pioneer, Metro Now, Dainik Bhaskar and continues to be a faculty and India's prestigious media institutions and journalism schools -- was launched on October 2 in 2021. With its election coverage, business stories, investigations, and sports and entertainment coverage, the New Indian has become one of the most followed websites for an exhaustive repository of stories this year. Rohan, Aarti and Pramod are followed by the Prime Minister, 20 Union Ministers and 11 Chief Ministers including CMs of Delhi, UP., M.P., Karnataka, Maharashtra and several other states together on their social media handles. Together, they alone draw more than 3 lakh followers — an enviable collection of IPS, IAS, IFS, diplomats, think thanks, sports and Bollywood stars , apart from members of civil society — in the list.
